Dr. Hussein Elastal

Dentist

Dr. Elastal obtained his dental degree from University of Detroit Mercy in 2000. He practiced general dentistry in Pembroke, Ontario for two years before opening Riviera Dental Centre in 2004. He has extensive training in implant and cosmetic dentistry, as well as orthodontics, including Invisalign treatment. In his spare time he loves to travel and spend time with his wife and three boys. He is committed to excellence in his profession and will gladly answer any concerns you have about your smile.

Dr. Safaa Ibrahim

Dentist

Dr. Safaa Ibrahim is a dedicated dentist with over 15 years of
experience in the fields of dentistry and oral and dental surgery. She
obtained a bachelor’s degree in oral medicine and dental surgery from
Cairo university, Egypt 2002 (BDS). She completed her Master
Program in pedodontics (2011).
Dr. Ibrahim is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, including
cosmetics, restorations,surgical extractions, root canal therapy,
pediatric and preventive dentistry. After immigrating to Canada, she
successfully completed the Canadian Equivalency process of the
National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) on the first attempt to
obtain her license. 
Her gentle touch and calming demeanor create a welcoming
environment that allows even the most anxious patients to feel
comfortable during their visits to the dental office.
Dr. Ibrahim’s dedication to patient care extends beyond the clinic; she
actively participates in community outreach programs aimed at
promoting oral health awareness among children and families.
With her extensive experience and compassionate approach, she is
dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality
of dental care in a supportive environment.

Weiyi

Hygienist

Wei is a dedicated dental hygienist at Riviera Dental, bringing a passion for oral health care and nearly a decade of experience in the dental field since beginning her career in 2015. She earned her Dental Hygiene diploma from the Canadian National Institute of Health, where she also discovered her deep connection to the Ottawa community. Known for her gentle approach and commitment to patient-centered care, Wei consistently prioritizes her patients' well-being, striving to deliver efficient and compassionate treatment tailored to their individual needs. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through yoga and fitness, often spending her free time at local yoga studios and gyms.

Inna

Hygienist

With a gentle touch and a passion for patient care, Inna brings over 13 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles through personalized education and preventative care. Known for her friendly demeanor and attention to detail, Inna makes every visit comfortable and stress-free. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and travelling.

Sandra

CDA

With over 16 years of experience as a dedicated dental assistant , Sandra has built a strong reputation for professionalism and compassionate patient care. She spent 14 years working in British Columbia, for the past 2 years , she has continued her career in Ottawa, bringing her expertise and positive attitude to a new team.

Pascaline

CDA

Originally from Rwanda, Pascaline has been working as a dental assistant for over a year. Prior to relocating, she worked as a dental therapist in Rwanda for over seven years, gaining extensive experience in patient care and oral health services. Pascaline is passionate about dentistry and takes great pride in contributing to a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. She truly enjoy being part of such a dedicated and supportive team. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Zainab

 With a background as a licensed dentist in Dubai, Zainab brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to our dental team. Her deep understanding of dental procedures and patient care makes her an essential part of ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate treatment experiences. Zainab is committed to continuous learning and helping patients feel confident in their smiles. She combines expert skills with a warm, approachable, and friendly demeanor to support both our patients and practitioners every step of the way.

Shefali Dahiya

Office Manager

Shefali Dahiya brings over a decade of experience in the dental field, including more than five years in a management role at dental clinics across Canada. Originally a practicing dentist in her home country, she is now pursuing her goal of becoming a licensed dentist in Canada. In March 2024, Shefali moved from beautiful British Columbia to Ottawa and began a new chapter with the wonderful team at Riviera Dental Centre. Her extensive knowledge of both clinical and administrative aspects of dentistry allows her to support patients with everything from building healthy smiles to handling insurance and paperwork. She is passionate about creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. As office manager, Shefali plays a key role in keeping the clinic running efficiently and compassionately.
